Bersærk is a Danish heathen heavy-rock band rooted in ritual, repetition and the weight of sound.

Drawing on Nordic mythology, occult themes and altered states, the band moves between doom, industrial, psychedelia, metal and rock — less as genres, more as vehicles for atmosphere and intensity.

The band’s early trilogy revolves around a cyclical narrative of collapse and renewal — a world descending into dissolution only to re-emerge in altered form.

Later work marks a shift towards a more direct and focused expression, while the current incarnation stands closer to the original vision — a distilled form built on instinct, presence and confrontation.

Known for immersive live performances, Bersærk has appeared at festivals such as Copenhell, Smukfest and Roskilde, as well as touring extensively across Denmark.

Bersærk exists in the space between the physical and the unseen — where sound becomes something more than music.
